View from the terrace
Long queues and waiting for the breakfast. Extremely slow elevator.
the balcony over looking the city of Rome, and the breakfast
the first room i got was supper small noisy no AC where I picked a room with AC after calles to NY the room was changed and the AC was working.
Excellent location, at a wallking distance to all the main touristic attractions. The terrace has a lovely view, it's a pity it's a bit neglected, with no facilities (bar, for example, or an alternative breakfast room when the weather allows).
The street is very noisy due to the intense traffic, and although the hotel has modern windows you can still listen to the traffic inside the rooms. Not suitable for people who can't sleep with some noise, if you stay in the front rooms. In the morning there was no hot water in the shower, just tepid.
The most valuable in this Hotel - it is its location. Just 2 minutes to Piazza Venice. 5 minutes to Trevi fountain.
central location and helpful staff
no coffe machine in room, lack of english tv channels
Good location, close to Navona Plaza and all other interesting places in Rome.
Great position - in the centre of all major sites. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Shower head elevation not suffcicient - keeps sliding down the bar; should upgrade hair dryers; no aircon in my room(which can be a problem in summer when one needs to open the windows) We had rooms facing inwards and there was a fair amount of noise - would imagine street facing rooms are very noisy
Location was the best. It is in the center of the city where almost all tourist attractions are near by. front desk were helpful and nice. rooms are small but reasonably clean. bed was comfortable. washroom is spacious compared to the room. wireless internet in the room 10 Euro/6 hrs was fast
The two mini elevators are really tiny and extremely slow. you often need to climb the stairs ("I was in the sixth floor :-(". breakfst is limited Its hard to believe you could tolerate it for more than few days. Pictures online do not represent the reality. Furniture is old. Rooms are small In North American standards this is not a hotel it is Just a motel but may be the standards in Rome are different since most buildings are old.
Nice clean bathrooms and toilets. Helpful personnel. Central location. Room standard is ok.
Poor spring mattress and only one common sheet and blanket in the double beds. Poor breakfast, with dry white bread and very noisy coffee and juice machines. (Nothing hot like scrambled eggs, bacon, etc). No bedside lamps. There where no way to turn on/off individual lamps in the room, either all lamps where lit or off. Comparing with my experience of hotels on other locations than Rome I would rate this as a good three star hotel, definately not four star. a lot of traffic outside.
Staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent english. Simply perfect, and my girlfriend and I will without a doubt book this hotel again if we come to Rome. It was very close to many of the "must see attractions" (Colloseum, Pantheon, Forum Romanum etc), The Vatican were reached on foot in about half an hour (brisk walk)
We did observe some ants in our room, that was not so nice, but nothing that will keep us from coming back
The best of this hotel is location - very closed to Venezia square, to Coliseum, to fountain Trevi etc. Also good service, good breakfast.
Noise is too high.
Breakfast was fabulous, the views from the roof top terrace were spectacular, in places the hotel looked tired, in need of refurbishment and painting eg in the reception area and rooms and the staff friendly and helpful thanks for a great stay
We had an amazing view from one of the few balconies in the hotel. Great location.
The hotel was a bit tatty. Needs upgrading. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Questionable whether it is even a 3 star.
Excellent location with easy access to most attractions The rooftop plaza with views across Rome was a surprise bonus.
1. Very close to the Colosseo ( 15 min walk) , Trevi Fontana and P.zza di Spagna 2. Very close to shopping streets ie Via Del Carso, via Condotti 3. Friendly hotel staff ie helped calling a Taxi Operator to pick me up for airport transfer , arranged Bus Tours to Napoli and Florence , 4. Provided me a Map and showed me the locations that I asked . 5.Not far from Termini Station where I can find the halal Indian Restaurant .
The daily breakfast menu should be different .
